@JDVance What you posted is certainly indefensible. So too is the future leaders of the Republican party praising Hitler and calling for people to be sent to the gas chambers. That isn't "pearl clutching". A generations of Americans fought and died opposing Hitler, whom these men praise.

This is far worse than anything said in a college group chat, and the guy who said it could become the AG of Virginia. I refuse to join the pearl clutching when powerful people call for political violence.

The fact that xitter has lost $34.6B in value is rather telling. While never a money-maker, Elon Musk has driven the value into the ground. What does he care, most of it was investor's money.

@Wiezguy Having lived in Florida, yeah, this seems about right for the latest storm. While we escaped the worst with Ian (before we moved), we had friends take storm surge waters waist deep in their homes. Then, it was mere days before looters started on their street.

There are some really crappy people making fun of this family's tragedy. This home was built about 60 years ago. This is the worst flooding ever recorded in the area. Screw you and your assumptions. Especially if you call yourself a "patriot" then talk sh*t.
