"CatDog" was an actual industry plant from Nick, it had 100 episodes greenlit, a theatrical short in front of the first Rugrats film, and cameos on game shows It's funny beacuse they didn't had any faith in Spongebob but they had more on CatDog according a former Nick Dev Exec

@LSMark_ OK, so my theory is it was probably around 2002 to 2003 right before Butch Hartman had jealousy of being number two. I’m using the channel chasers deleted scene as a timeline because I have a hunch, this is the first time which Hartman is showing jealousy of being number two

Obviously no one can know for sure, but I am like 99% Butch brought up the idea up to Stephen, he said something like “that could be fun” to be nice, and Butch ran with it
