spiritually maga the way kurdish groups keep falling for it again

The U.S. and Kurdish forces are discussing the possibility of a military operation in Iran According to Reuters, citing three informed sources, in recent days, Iranian Kurdish forces have been negotiating with the U.S. on the feasibility and methods of striking Iranian security forces in western Iran, from Iraqi Kurdistan. Preparations for such an operation have already begun, with the goal of creating conditions for an uprising by Iranians opposing the Islamic regime. Sources told Reuters that Kurdish forces requested U.S. military support, and Iraqi leaders in Erbil and Baghdad have also been in contact with the Trump administration in recent days.

I am a Proud Kurd. I am a Proud Nationalist. I am a Proud Separatist. I Want an Independent, Greater Kurdistan.☀️

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇱 U.S. AND ISRAEL HAVE BEEN BUILDING A KURDISH GROUND FORCE INSIDE IRAN SINCE LAST YEAR Weapons have reportedly been smuggled into western Iran since the 12-day war to arm thousands of Kurdish volunteers. A ground operation is expected within days. American and Israeli strikes have been hitting security targets in western Iran specifically to degrade defenses before the ground push. The Kurds have asked for U.S. and Israeli air cover. No word on whether that's been approved. Trump spoke with Iranian and Iraqi Kurdish leaders over the weekend. The goal: create space for Iranians to rise up now that Khamenei is dead. The Kurds remember what happened after ISIS. They were critical to that fight, then the U.S. walked away. Iraqi Kurdish leaders are reportedly cautious about getting burned again. Ten million Kurds live inside Iran. Thousands have trained in the mountains for years. If this works, they become the "boots on the ground" Trump needs. Source: ITV News, Reuters

Iran has backed the PKK and its Iranian arm PJAK for a very long time. PJAK has an actual ceasefire with Tehran since 2011. Iranian Kurdish groups are fractured, their operational capabilities are questionable the least. Their presence is fraught with ethnic tensions in a mountainous area hard to supply. People also shouldn’t underestimate the Iranian nationalism and the large presence of Azerbaijanis next door. I’m not an Iran expert but doesn’t look like to me a very smooth plan. It worked in Syria because it was totally a different context based on years long civil war.
