We’ve won it again! Well done to all of our clubs, teams, coaches, players, refs, volunteers and committee members who have made our league so well respected.

We won it last year and have been shortlisted again this year. Must be doing something right!

U9 Cup winners were Upton Panthers @UptonJFCGirls who beat AFC Waverton @afcwaverton

U10 Shield winners, on penalties, were Saughall, runners up Neston Nomads

It was the end of the League season for most of our teams today @KGVSportsHub . All games were cup competitions. U10s winners were Upton Pumas who beat Chester Nomads Zebras Well done girls

On Saturday we are taking part in the FA Silent Weekend. It’s a great initiative and we hope everyone will embrace it fully. See you all there! #silentsupportweekend

Due to the extremely low temperatures forecast for tomorrow morning we have taken an early decision to postpone all our games at @KGVSportsHub for this Saturday. The pitch is currently unplayable. We are back on Saturday 18 January. Enjoy the weekend

We had our final sessions yesterday before Christmas. A great morning of festive fun. It was also time to say a temporary goodbye to Lisa who has been a fantastic matchday coordinator, fixer, diplomat, ideas person, and lots more! Good luck with the new baby Lisa and see you soon

The Cheshire Girls Football League has just won the League of the Year Award at the @Cheshire_FA Awards night. We are so happy! Thank you to everyone who has supported us and made this league so fantastic

We were very pleased to welcome two new clubs to the league today, Princes Villa and Saughall.

Today we start our 4th season of the Cheshire Girls Football League in Chester. Today we will set a record. We now host teams from u7 to u10 and have 258 girls registered. Enjoy the games today and let’s keep girls football in Chester growing.

Don’t be like Conor. Micro shin pads are too small to give sufficient protection to young players and they are not allowed in games in the Chester locality of the league. We will require girls to wear full junior size traditional shin pads.
