ICRISAT at the policy dialogue on “Evidence-Led Food Systems Transformation Policies in the Context of #ViksitBharat” The event, organized by ICRISAT and the @IFPRI, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, and supported by @CGIARPolicy Innovations Science Program, marked the launch of the India Policy Innovation Hub—a co-creation platform for informing policies. Held at the NASC Complex, New Delhi, the dialogue brought together international policy experts from @CGIAR, national research institutions, and senior government leadership to co-create evidence-led pathways for food systems transformation. Dr Himanshu Pathak (@HPathakOfficial), Director General, ICRISAT, joined as Special Guest and chaired a high-level session on Food System Prioritization in Viksit Bharat. Dr Shalander Kumar (@kumar_shalander), Principal Scientist, Transforming Agrifood Systems, ICRISAT, joined delegates from IFPRI and CIMMYT, sharing insights on entry points for crop diversification and advancing millets and pulses for human and environmental well-being.
