Following the Golders Green attack, Met Police representatives met with organisers of the Nova memorial exhibition to discuss security arrangements. The exhibition, commemorating the 413 party-goers murdered by Hamas at the Nova festival on 7 October, has already toured 10 international cities and is set to open in London later this month. In light of recent attacks on Jewish sites across the city, police have asked organisers not to disclose the venue's location until closer to opening day. The site will operate under heightened security, with an increased presence of officers and guards.

𝗔 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆 👑🇧🇲 I had the great honour of meeting His Majesty King Charles III during his visit to Bermuda, his first visit as Sovereign to a British Overseas Territory. As the Rabbi of Bermuda, following another horrific antisemitic terror attack, this time on the streets of Golders Green, I shared with His Majesty how deeply grateful so many in the Jewish community, and beyond, are for his clear and compassionate stand against antisemitism, and for his longstanding friendship toward the Jewish people. What he shared with me in response was deeply moving. He spoke warmly about his grandmother, Princess Alice of Battenberg, who, while living in Nazi-occupied Athens during the Holocaust, risked her own life to hide and save Jews from the Nazis. She also quietly helped feed and care for those in need. His Majesty shared that she never made a big deal of it, and that the family did not speak about it much. Years later, Princess Alice was recognized by Yad Vashem as Righteous Among the Nations. She later asked to be buried in Jerusalem, and today she rests on Har Hazeitim, the Mount of Olives. In a world where hate can be loud, acts of courage, kindness, and moral clarity echo even louder. שמעו סיפור על החב"דניק האישי שלי, הרב יוסף גליצנשטיין - שליח הרבי לשכונה שלנו וחבר שהוא אח. איש מתוק ואנרגטי שאתה לא מבין מאיפה האנרגיות (אחרי כמעט 11 שנים במחיצתו אני כבר מצליח להבין - זה הכל השליחות). הוא גם חב"דניק מבטן ומלידה, גם עורך דין וגם עובד במשרה משמעותית בבנק, ואני מעיד שהוא גם שליח אמיתי שמשפיע עלינו להיות יהודים יותר טובים ואנשים יותר טובים. עם פרוץ המלחמה הוא התגייס לראשונה לצה"ל לשלב ב', בהיותו בן 36, ואב לתשעה. מאז עשה מאות ימי מילואים, ואין ספק - זה היהודי שהיית רוצה לצידך בצבא: הוא נטחן, סוגר שבתות, סוגר חגים, הכל בחיוך. אנחנו צוחקים עליו שהוא צעיר ותמים, שמסנג׳רים אותו, שממציאים לו משימות, והוא מבטל את כל הקושי עם אותו חיוך. מאז ה 7 באוקטובר נולד לו הילד העשירי, ולפני חודשיים וחצי הילד ה 11. אבל הוא כמובן לעולם לא ינצנץ. גם כשמייד אחרי הלידה קיבל עוד סבב של מעל חודשיים. השאיר בבית אישה שהיא אגדה בפני עצמה, ואין דבר חמוד כמו לראות את אירועי ההפגה למשפחות המילואים במזכרת בתיה, כשבתוכם מתרוצצים 11 ילדי משפחת גליצנשטיין בגילאי 0 עד 14. היום הסתיימו המילואים, וכמה לא מפתיע: הוא נבחר למצטיין הסבב. קראתי את תעודת ההצטיינות, קלטו אותו היטב החבר'ה בצה"ל: הוא זריז, מתנדב ראשון לכל משימה, מסור, ותמיד חיובי. כמה קידוש השם. אין לי ספק שבזכות השירות שלו נפתחו לבבות של לפחות עשרות חיילים בצה"ל שראו איזה פירות מתוקים מצמיחה יהדות אמיתית. הוא חסיד, הוא רב, הוא בן 39, אב ל 11, הצחיק אותי לשמוע שעם כל אלה דרגתו היא רב טוראי, והוא באמת באמת אלוף.
