@Indoorsey @ryanhallyall I’m no expert but I think it’s engineered to do this. I’ve seen this multiple times and driven through it once years ago. The water rolls through here, maybe a foot deep, never jumps the curb or floods structures. It drains off pretty quickly.

Dead serious, I’d have a genuine interest in watching a team made of legitimate students who happen to be good at football. Zero financial aid for them, zero recruiting, just hold an open tryout every year. Only play area schools, maybe a 7 game schedule. Revert to 1905.

It is sort of wild to watch the masses jump to conclusions about the additions when Alexander has been universally lauded for a history of player evaluation and seeing talent where others don't. You can't hire a guy with that pedigree then turn around and get pissed when he isn't acquiring big, known names. Maybe let the development process play out first and give his background the benefit of the doubt initially?

Kansas is ranked 15th in the nation in education spending. Yet we rank 40th in NAEP scores. Kansas education is spending over $20,000 per student per year, the most ever spent in the state, but for the first time ever, our test scores are below the national average. More than 70% of our 4th graders are not proficient in math or reading at grade level. These numbers are unacceptable. If we don’t fix this, Kansas doesn’t have much of a future.  As Governor, I will, focus on outcomes, demand accountability and make sure the dollars are getting to students and teachers, not government bureaucracy. Let’s turn Kansas around together.
