@ChadGriffiths “So why is this rate 20% above the rest of them??”
“It’s a new trend driven by scarcity and strategic location, totally irreplaceable class B industrial 20 mins outside of town”
@ChadGriffiths or youth sports (4 desks in their office for youth sports) one for the business. Own the a business so they can spend 20 hours a week at an animal shelter. Or almost no profit but high standard of living from credit card points. Who knows...
@ChadGriffiths Just had a conversation about one of these popping up by the office. The last thing I want to look at is another screen. Give me the outdoors.
@ChadGriffiths This is where you buy a big insurance policy with a ton of business interruption coverage and then pray for a catastrophic loss from fire, tornado or hurricane so you can protect your dignity and blame the shutdown on the catastrophe.
@ChadGriffiths 2 years
First 6 months - set low prices, generate some buzz
6-12 months - raise prices to recoup losses, newness wanes out
12-18 months - denial sets in as nobody wants to pay high prices to drink and play fake golf
18-24 months - owner breaks as the banks start calling in loans
@ChadGriffiths I maintain one of these with half golf simulators and the other half baseball/softball simulators, would be a gold mine. The only "sports" group who drinks more than golfers are softball guys.
