Today, the Arizona Energy Promise Taskforce formally presented their final report to me. To protect our economic future, we must take a strategic approach to modernize our grid and build the energy system of the future. We’re charting the course to ensure an affordable, reliable energy future for all Arizonans.

There's been a lot of focus on Arizona's position in these negotiations. We do have rights, and we've successfully defended them before. The decision to bring on outside counsel sends a clear signal that Arizona is prepared to protect its share if it comes to that. 🎥⬇️

Today Arizona issued its first-ever Groundwater Savings Credits under our landmark Ag-to-Urban program, a major step to protect our water and grow our economy. This approval provides enough water to build 825 new homes and save 437 million gallons of water every year. We’re proving Arizona can protect its water, expand housing, and grow our economy at the same time. I’ll keep fighting for the water security our families and businesses deserve.
