Area team’s results at the tournament: Merrill 2-0 Marshfield 1-0 DCE 2-1 Antigo 1-1 Wausau West 0-2 Wausau East 0-2

Merrill wins a pair of games today at the DCE Softball Invite. Merrill beat EC North 3-2 & then rallied past Baraboo 6-5. Baraboo took a 4-0 lead in the top of the 2nd but the Bluejays responded with 6 in the bottom of the inning to take the lead & held on the rest of the way.

In the other 12 noon game, Marshfield beat DePere 9-3. Merrill is facing Baraboo now in the final game of the event. #wissb

D.C. Everest improves to 2-1 after beating Baraboo 16-9 at the DCE SB Invite at Greenheck-Turner Community Center. Everest turned a deficit into a 12-3 lead w/ an 11 run top of the 4th inning. Aubrey Klatt hit a grand slam HR and Ava Hahn added a 2 RBI triple during the inning.

Final: Pulaski 17 Wausau East 7. 10 run 4th inning turned things around for Pulaski. Lumberjacks also fell to Antigo earlier 10-7 after Red Robins scored 5 in the 7th inning to rally from 7-5 deficit. DC Everest beat Antigo 10-2 to start their season.
