@gonicku_ Yujiro is absolute Aura and hype. His martial art skill is living up to it all. This is why, as cool as the announcement is, you really gotta wonder how will his moveset and balance work in the game? Namco has to channel the aura while balancing him. It's going to be tricky

It's even more ridiculous on a first watch cuz Yujiro was absolutely hyped tf up before this mostly through rumor, but the fights were fairly grounded Then he steps in proper and just punches an earthquake asleep like alright man, it was nice knowing Baki ig 💀

@momiji_doa @RichardPell4 Then there's the fact that canonically, she's dead. Disney took the clone wars scripts that depicted her end and published them in a novel before it all went to crap. She's killed by Dooku but is redeemed by her romance with Quinlan vos, and becomes one with the force.

@snacks_fruity2 I do have SOME worries. Tekken 8's art style is NOT a good fit for Baki, either they are going to have to use a different engine entirely for him or he's going to look ugly AF. Also, They will need to be creative to depict Yujiro as he's meant to be and still balance him

@FetusberryJam @Thatisdiffi I hear you. The only thing mainstream success does is convince devs to water down a products appeal for mass market consumption. I figure netflix is already calling up Keisuke Itagaki to pitch a netflix live action show starring Rob Schneider as Baki.

@GaltStuck I know the family line has devil gene, but I also know they have also canonically taken L's from martial artists in Devil form. Yujiro on the other hand is Broken AF without shifting forms, so unless the devil gene has gotten upgrades in recent years, I don't see it making a dif

Pior que oque mais me hypa com o Yujiro Hanma no Tekken 8 é a ideia dele saindo na porrada do Heihachi, pq depois do Akuma que já tava no Tekken 7, ele é minha matchmaking favorita com o Heihachi, tem tudo haver esses dois lutando, dito isso, Heihachi limpa o chão com o Yujiro.

@SEAGERR_ so yeah, this is why people are excited and kinda worried. They're taking the most testosterone heavy shonen character ever, and sticking him in Tekken which even with its devil forms and resurrections, is far more grounded. Good luck heihachi.

@SEAGERR_ If anyone could do it, its yujiro. He's that crazy and baki is just that insane a universe. It's a place where one fighter is cross bred with a T-Rex who still cowers before yujiro. Seriously, look up the anime and manga. It's nuts, but in a good way.

@SEAGERR_ I'm a Baki fan and personally, I think Yujiro is going to be tricky to properly depict on account of how OP the man is. He's what would happen if Chuck Norris jokes were taken seriously. He sleeps in the Van Damme splits position and stops earthquakes by punching the earth.
