The girls in Nikke are much more fragile than they seem. Bad Ending 6 with Arcana and Bad Ending 9 with Privaty both show this. They see the Commander as their rock. There is really no one else who can fill this role because of their nature as Nikkes and the responsibilities they have. In Arcana's case, once the Commander fully gives in to his base desires, there is nothing to stop her from spiraling further, chasing the love and affection she has been denied for so long, forgetting everything else including the mission, and pulling the Commander down with her. It is a form of escapism, which is not healthy. For Privaty in Bad Ending 9, without the Commander giving her a pep talk and being a strong support, she completely succumbs to despair. She becomes trapped in bed but still does what the Commander wants out of deep love and trust, becoming our "Own Personal Privaty," and the mission fails. All in all, remember to be good to your Nikkes, support them, and do what is best for them. You really are all they have to rely on.

@KOGG__ It's canon that the commander does have sex with the Nikke's. But this is a story about deep romantic love that involves way more than just sex. Kind of amazing that lesson is lost on a lot of people.

I think I would be correct in saying most Prequel haters have watched more videos criticizing the Prequels than the actual films themselves Leading to less and less knowledge of what happens in the film if it isn’t mentioned by a critic Which leads to complaints like this that have no basis in what the actual film contains, but rather the hollowed out version pieces together from criticisms

"Revenge for what?" This is a joke, right? The Jedi Council scene made it VERY clear that the Jedi were responsible for the extinction of the Sith. The Sith are ancient arch-enemies of the Jedi who want revenge for the Jedi almost destroying them. Did you guys watch the movie?

@OliverJia1014 @gb_lukee That kind of revisionist social media grandstanding is more d*ad net theory than actual history. The prequels made money with no sharp drop off and continue to do so upon re-releases. The actual history and continued support doesn’t mesh with social media posts like those.

As I've said already, this is the kind of exaggerated Gen X hate toward the prequels I'm talking about. Yes, I get that for a certain generation they were disappointing. To act like they're the worst cinematic abortions of all time though is really overstating the case.

It doesn't just suck. The Phantom Menace has my vote for the worst Hollywood blockbuster ever made. It's an atrocious film with incoherent plotting and terrible acting. Plus the character of Jar-Jar Binks, King of Cringe, which makes several scenes unwatchably embarrassing.

@Mr_Mikey_P @gnarcader well... other than following up with the lost ships from Parma, there's really nowhere else for Phantasy Star classic to go. This game ties it all up with a bow and ends the story with style, and I'm happy seeing it going out on a high note.

@gnarcader 4 was their magnum opus at the time it was released. Sadly i don't think we'll ever get a part 5... I lot of fan games started that attempted to make an unofficial part 5 but as with most fan projects.. it died.

@gnarcader Its even more meaningful if you beat the prior three games and get just how much the story came full circle. I'd say give them a chance and start with the AGES version of the first game. WAY less grinding.

I see the Star Wreck 90210 crowd are still not ok. You told people not to watch it because today's Trek is for the enlightened. Then you get mad because the ratings sucked. Then you get mad at folks like me who did watch it but pointed out lazy writing dumb shortcuts and plot holes DS9 could fit through. Tell the higher ups the following: Stop trying to make every episode a visual masterpiece and focus on story and character development.

@CapnKibs I think too much of the film focuses on its weakest aspects, Jar Jar, the Gungans, and Anakin. I get what Lucas was aiming for with those aspects, but the themes of the village idiot making good and childhood innocence clashed too much with terracide and evil forces ascending.

@CapnKibs I disagree slightly, I think phantom menace is good but flawed. I like how the Trade Federation are going full terracide on Naboo, wiping out all sentient life there. I like the tense scenario of the Jedi being behind enemy lines fighting to rescue Padmae and get her to safety

They didn't; they enjoyed these scenes. You're not showing the parts they genuinely disliked, the awkward Anakin scene with Padme, the annoying Jar Jar scenes. People expected better. Phantom Menace is Fun, but it is not good. Same with Attack of the Clones, Good scenes or moments, are diminished by bad pacing and build up. and I'm saying that as someone who "Enjoys" the prequels.
