What's annoying about your post is how you assume parents are going to go back to some sort of pre-child life they had if their child moves out at 18. What if the child has to move out to make room for Grandma or Grandpa? What if the child has to move out because he or she has younger children that need the room, and food? At the end of the day there's numerous reasons why parents could want their children to move out, or remain at home, so why are you accusing parents who are trying to emancipate their children when they become adults of trying to revert to some sort of like partying lifestyle? Like as if they're just going to go out and start clubbing again. Why is that any of your business? What if a woman had a child when she was 18, and she wants to go out and live the life that she was never able to have in her twenties, we get to denigrate her because you say she wants to go back to some lifestyle that you have no idea what it's about yet disprove of? I'm not sure if sycophant is the correct word, but it seems that's the type of approval and validation you need from the internet. You're also a hypocrite because you're anti-marijuana yet have no qualms promoting online gambling, a vice that's destroyed lives, relationships, families, etc, but you didn't have a problem running ads for online gambling! But hey, if you're a parent that wants to emancipate your child, well that's not good enough for Matt Walsh, because Matt Walsh is always right!

He's not criticizing you for changing your mind and openly saying you did. Kudos to you for that. He's criticizing you for the fact that everything you say drips with disdain for anyone who thinks differently. In short, you've got a contempt problem.
