Gotta love showing up Day 1 of academy and 3 of our position players have elbow pain from their travel coaches abusing them all summer as pitchers and now need to see orthopedics. Got a travel team or two that will never get any of our guys. One kid got thrown 3x same tourney!!!

@RealMattyBo The real truth is that the same kid who complains somehow gets healthy enough to attend big showcases 3 days before or after major tournaments with their TEAM. A lot of selfishness and greed in our game these days and coaches end up returning the favor.

@RealMattyBo If kids aren’t preparing themselves at the high school level to pitch 5+ innings every time they toe the rubber then they aren’t destined for the greatness that success in this game yields.

If a coach has to babysit you off the field it says a lot about 1. Your priorities 2. Your maturity 3. Your desire to succeed And by the way, coaches/employers play favorites. The favorites are the people who have priorities straight, are mature, and have a desire to succeed.
