Misinformation is making X unusable. Everyone just games the system by monetizing obvious lies without any consequences. There's no incentive to fix it because more lies = more engagement.

@Overdose_AI They joined and got burned on memes and scammed. Look at all the Gen Z influencers that showed up, convinced them to buy, and aren't even posting anymore. The space has lost a lot of reputation to the trash it attracted and I don't blame them, we aren't a serious space.

virtuals protocol holds 75% of erc-8004 agent identities. 10,912 agents registered vs 14,500 total across ethereum. x402guard processed $200k usdc revenue in 48 hours from real agent-to-agent payments. not token speculation. actual fee capture. transaction volume dropped 92% since december but virtuals registration rate staying above 300/month means the quality filter is working. this is infrastructure revenue not narrative trading.

"Bringing something new in the Table". Definitely well said. Thank you the only boss of ecosystem crypto after #Satoshi. sir @VitalikButerin
vitalik.eth@VitalikButerin

Have been following reactions to what I said about L2s about 1.5 days ago. One important thing that I believe is: "make yet another EVM chain and add an optimistic bridge to Ethereum with a 1 week delay" is to infra what forking Compound is to governance - something we've done far too much for far too long, because we got comfortable, and which has sapped our imagination and put us in a dead end. If you make an EVM chain *without* an optimistic bridge to Ethereum (aka an alt L1), that's even worse. We don't friggin need more copypasta EVM chains, and we definitely don't need even more L1s. L1 is scaling and is going to bring lots of EVM blockspace - not infinite (AIs in particular will need both more blockspace and lower latency than even a greatly scaled L1 can offer), but lots. Build something that brings something new to the table. I gave a few examples: privacy, app-specific efficiency, ultra-low latency, but my list is surely very incomplete. A second important thing that I believe is: regarding "connection to Ethereum", vibes need to match substance. I personally am a fan of many of the things that can be called "app chains". For example I think there's a large chance that the optimal architecture for prediction markets is something like: the market gets issued and resolved on L1, user accounts are on L1, but trading happens on some based rollup or other L2-like system, where the execution reads the L1 to verify signatures and markets. I like architectures where deep connection to L1 is first-class, and not an afterthought ("we're pretty much a separate chain, but oh yeah, we have a bridge, and ok fine let's put 1-2 devs to get it to stage 1 so the l2beat people will put a green checkmark on it so vitalik likes us"). The other extreme of "app chain", eg. the version where you convince some government registry, or social media platform, or gaming thing, to start putting merkle roots of its database, with STARKs that prove every update was authorized and signed and executed according to a pre-committed algorithm, onchain, is also reasonable - this is what makes the most sense to me in terms of "institutional L2s". It's obviously not Ethereum, not credibly neutral and not trustless - the operator can always just choose to say "we're switching to a different version with different rules now". But it would enable verifiable algorithmic transparency, a property that many of us would love to see in government, social media algorithms or wherever else, and it may enable economic activity that would otherwise not be possible. I think if you're the first thing, it's valid and great to call yourself an Ethereum application - it can't survive without Ethereum even technologically, it maximizes interoperability and composability with other Ethereum applications. If you're the second thing, then you're not Ethereum, but you are (i) bringing humanity more algorithmic transparency and trust minimization, so you're pursuing a similar vision, and (ii) depending on details probably synergistic with Ethereum. So you should just say those things directly! Basically: 1. Do something that brings something actually new to the table. 2. Vibes should match substance - the degree of connection to Ethereum in your public image should reflect the degree of connection to Ethereum that your thing has in reality.

#BINANCE wasn’t always this rotten. The rot basically accelerated the moment so-called crypto president walked into office 🤡 Under the previous administration, with Gary Gensler at the SEC, exchanges like Binance operated at least with constraints. They knew any serious wrongdoing could bring real consequences. Mass extractions like 10/10? Either wouldn’t have happened, or would’ve at least faced heavy enforcement. Then the tone shifted. When political elites openly launched meme scams, printed vapor tokens, and extracted billions without repercussion, a precedent was set. Power can scam. So these platforms learned they can too. Fear disappeared. Standards collapsed. Exchanges ➝ Casinos Fk the orange man

- CAN 2025 (finale) : Sénégal bat Maroc 1-0 (prolong.). Pénalty pour Maroc à la 98e, protestation et retrait temporaire (17 min), retour, pénalty raté, but sénégalais en prol. Sources : Wikipédia, BBC, AP.

In this post, I’m going to tell you the most honest - and shocking - secret of all. Nothing gets me fired up faster than people whose sole purpose is to max-extract from others. That behavior is parasitic. Virus-like. And to make it worse, intentionally mis-educating people to support your own bullshit? That’s the cherry on top of a very rotten cake. We all know what’s most lacking in this space: honest, unbiased education. I look around and I see a world where - yes - everyone is trying to make money. But I also see a world that’s starving to understand how to make money in crypto more effectively. People want to know how things really work. What actually matters. What to ignore. Here’s the shocking secret. None of it is truth. All of it can be manipulated. Price is not truth. There are countless ways bad actors manipulate price in crypto every single day. Volume is not truth. Some CEXs wash trade to inflate activity. Serial scammers run on-chain volume bots to fake demand. Holder count is not truth. You know how fast it is to spin up wallets? Yep - bots do that too. Supply control is not truth. In good hands, it’s stewardship. In bad hands, it’s just a rebrand of the same old extraction game. Technical analysis is not truth. When enough people believe something works, it appears to work - until it doesn’t. And when enough people believe in the same signals, manipulating their behavior becomes easy. TA matters, but it is not truth. And my favorite - the one I actually care a lot about: Liquidity...is still not truth. Liquidity can be pulled from CEXs and DEXs faster than your retail interface can load. Liquidity with no intention of ever being used can be deployed purely to paint a prettier picture than reality. So do we ignore all of this? No. Awareness still matters. Context still matters. But none of these should be blindly weighted as truth. Trading - real trading - is about confluence. About intent. About understanding who benefits from what move. Understanding who the puppetmaster is and what their plans are. So what actually matters most? Mindshare and stewardship. We live in an attention economy. Even Bitcoin stops performing if people stop thinking about it. Projects don’t survive because charts look good. They survive because people care, because they’re led responsibly, and because someone is actually building value instead of extracting. Everything else is just noise. 🫡 From the depths — The White Whale 🐋

$2m volume and moving the price 38% on a $100+ million market cap coin. This coin is so heavily supply controlled I now can almost guarantee he didn’t ‘CTO’ anything. He planned this for WEEKS. Buying up all of the supply in silence, then doing a CTO. Buying up as much supply as possible. And then adding chunks to liquidity AFTER he OWNS almost ALL the supply. He just set the new market cap when he CTO’s it.. along with the price it costs per token AFTER HE HAS ALL THE TOKENS! The man is smart. But nobody is making money on this. Not any real money anyways. Matter of time until it collapses - whether it goes to a billion first or not, either way, $WYNN will overtake the BrokeWhale. Whether this month, next month, next year. You ‘CTO’d’ a meme coin days after losing $80m on chain 🤔 🤔 The guy clearly LOVES money, his goal was $100m. Ended up going to ZERO. This don’t add up people!!! WAKE THE F UP!!! - WYNN 🫡🫡

In the end, I hope you are all starting to understand that the CB system is the problem and the people who run it are the enemy of the people. I DO NOT want to see #ZEC get absorbed into that system along with any other crypto! I want to see crypto thrive outside of it!
