PC keeps cycling power with new @nvidia 5090 installed. The system boots with original 5080. Just installed a 1200w power supply and the problem persists. Is this card just bricked?

@Chadwicklive1 @nvidia I had a similar issue with my 4070ti. I returned the card and the replacement works fine.

I would start checking your power supply. Had a similar problem yrs ago and found that I had the power supply installed upside down and was blocking the fan inlet/vent. With the old card everything worked fine. The new card the system would shut off. I didn't see the real problem until I replaced the power supply and noticed what I did. I still upgraded the power supply. I just made sure I installed it correctly.
