Deputy Lieutenant of East Sussex, David Allam, donated and helped plant 3 trees at the Southern Water CMDP site in Hailsham.🌳 Our landscaping team planted over 1000 trees, so the donation to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee will be a real focal point on the biodiversity site!

Whilst on “poo patrol” around our local Suitable Alternative Natural Greenscape (SANG), our operatives bumped into a wonderful group from the Hookstede Disability Day Centre who had some brilliant ideas on cleaning up after our dogs and dog mess prevention.

Grass cutting season has begun!🚜 Henry, from Plumpton College, is carrying out his work experience with us & has been taking the wheel under supervision from one of our contracts managers. This fresh cut was for Westham Parish Council, whom we've worked with for over 10 years.

As part of our support at Chalk Farm Learning Disabilities Centre, we donated tools, mulch material, and 2 volunteers to build a woodchip path through a garden. Together, we cleared the space so that students with special educational needs can carry out small greenery projects.

Last month our Landscaping Operative, Leon, revisited the Oasis Academy to teach a group of Year 10 students about the Carbon Challenge. Working closely with the Construction Youth Trust, we regularly visit school career hubs to raise awareness of important matters like this.

How many damaged trees have you spotted in the last week? Our expert Arborists have been busy carrying out emergency works to keep highways safe for the public. From clearing to dismantling, the team have been working day and night to attend callouts throughout the storms.
