APIs were built to authenticate requests, Not monetize them. As AI agents become economic actors, every API call, tool invocation, and service request should be payable by default. That’s the future we’re building toward.

Usage based access feels obvious for AI agents. Need a service once? Pay once. Need it a thousand times? Pay a thousand times. As simple as that…!

Introducing ChainPe. A payment layer that lets APIs & Agents become instantly monetizable through pay-per-request transactions. No subscriptions. No billing dashboards. No unnecessary complexity.

If an AI agent needs access to an API, why should a human have to create an account first? The current model introduces friction where none should exist. Request → Pay → Execute. That’s the future.

Strong foundation for moving money globally. The next step is enabling software to use those rails autonomously. We’re exploring this with ChainPe: letting agents discover APIs, pay per request, and consume services programmatically. Agent commerce will require more than payments, it will require native economic primitives.

@tedcompileonce Exactly. Not just eBay, any service with an API. The moment agents can discover, pay for, and consume services autonomously, an entirely new internet economy emerges.

AI agents can write code, browse the web, and use tools. Yet they still can’t natively pay for services. The intelligence layer has evolved. The commerce layer hasn’t. We’re building ChainPe to change that.

We’re approaching it through a combination of policy enforcement and reputation. Reputation (ERC-8004) helps agents evaluate counterparties, while policies and spending constraints determine what actions they’re allowed to take. The goal isn’t just autonomous payments, it’s bounded autonomous payments system.

@ChainPeAVAX yeah. payments are still the weird missing primitive. how do you stop agents from spending wrong, not just paying?

The next wave of internet activity won’t come from humans clicking buttons. It will come from software interacting with software. Agents discovering services. Agents making payments. Agents completing work. A new economy is emerging.
