The intersection between EIPs and CAIPs is substantial but there isn't a proper collaboration CAIPs currently inherit standards from EIPs but the vice-versa currently does not happen The collaboration should be two-way in order to be productive

EIP-1 is being updated and going multi-chain 👀 Very limited links were allowed to be added to EIP/ERCs when merged into the respective repos (eg: BTC BIPs, Eth devp2p, etc...). Today @ChainSafeth opened a PR to edit EIP-1.
With the every growing ecosystem of L2's and alternative chains, we need standards on how to interact with them. @ChainStandards is that.
CAIPs should be supported as a valid external URL, such that future EIPs/ERCs can reference them.
