When you still call it ‘virtual’ currency to stress its supposed unreality—and to show disdain for a new era—you may not realize: the future is already here. Finance has always been neutral. There has never been finance that either ‘serves’ or ‘does not serve’ the real economy. In the end, all ‘money’ flows back to the real economy. Only an open, transparent, and equal financial system can prevent capital from circulating idly and truly serve the real economy with efficiency.
