the Midwest should dominate blockchain because they know how to think about their neighbors. one of my first focuses upon founding @ChainVision_ in 2021 was to reach out to my alma mater @UMich @UMengineering to understand how they were helping their students prepare for the budding blockchain industry. unfortunately their only response at the time was to ask for money for professor research into the domain. this vacuum of interest from a leading Midwest academic institution is part of what motivated me to help launch @0xEthChicago, where we were able to bring to Chicago over 5 Midwest university blockchain clubs. fast forward to today and we are one week out from the inaugural @MBC_Conference hosted at @MichiganRoss where 30+ universities will attend alongside a plethora of industry leaders. im incredibly proud of @UMichBlockchain for spearheading this effort. embodying what it truly means to be “leaders and best”. if you will be in Ann Arbor next Friday and would like to connect, shoot me a DM. the Midwests blockchain journey is just beginning, and I’m stoked to see where it leads.
