Looking back it was obvious that I wasn’t ever going to hold onto this money 1st screenshot: March 30th 2024 2nd screenshot: April 1st 2024 Duration: 3 days I was DoorDashing full time for ~2 years up until this point and just like that my 10k yolo net worth full port turned into 100k -> 240k at the peak within mere days I was at a point in life where I was done with everything, so that’s why I blatantly full ported everything I had saved up those past years That kind of net worth whiplash literally didn’t make sense to someone like me who’s was so broke/poor for that long and the numbers seemed fake, no part about it felt real That much money that fast It made no sense to me To add, my grandfather passed away due to sudden heart failure while out working alone on his cattle ranch about 1-2hrs after I took the second screenshot, so everything in my world was in complete shock (The first death in my immediate family so everyone was in a panic that night and for the first 72hrs or so) Every coin comparable to it was hitting market caps 3-5x its market cap, and it was only 2.5 weeks old since its TGE, so I really thought I was going to make it big You can guess what happened next… Bag held it down to 32k But I was determined I begun to bag work, I rallied a die hard community, marketed the coin hard with everything I had, even onboarded to the coin’s team and marketed with them, and eventually became a “main character” figure of the coin’s community Even DCA’d a bit more into the coin that summer with what little I could spare and I never sold a single coin from my initial holdings because I was delusional Then that following Q4 after 8 grueling months of flat price action at the lows we finally got enough momentum again with ETH rallying, and the coin pumped back up to about 85% of its former ATHs I figured this was finally it It was FINALLY going to cross new ATHs and we were going to hit it big This time we had SO much more support from CT than before, more partnerships, a better platform, more good influencers working with us, it was ALL there But no It never crossed new ATHs Instead, it did the same exact thing, and sold off and slow melted to essentially zero in the following 2 months Just slow enough for the team, community, and I to believe it would rally again to break those new ATHs, but it simply never did So I round tripped the same life changing money a second time Crazy right? Still haunts me to this day and most would never touch crypto or investing ever again But I am still here, and will remain here until I surpass it at least 5X+ They can try, but they can’t kill me, and believe me they’ve tried so so hard
