It also tells us if the validator goes unreachable, and when it recovers. The two failure modes that cost delegation (falling out of version compliance and silent downtime) both get caught before they become losses.

The best argument for staking with an independent validator isn't values. It's math. If enough stake concentrates in a small number of entities, the network becomes fragile. Every delegation to an independent operator is a hedge against that outcome. nakaflow.io
