@ChainstackHQ leads Dwellir and ZAN in our global block propagation showdown for #Arbitrum Mainnet. Recently we acquired $49/mo subscriptions with these 3 providers to get sufficient #RPC capacity for our global analysis from 31 locations on 6 continents. In each of the 31 locations we launched 2 dedicated probes with subscriptions for newHeades via a websocket. The probes intercepted notifications about new blocks and added timestamps for each arrival. Eventually, we merged the hashes and timestamps from all the probes to determine the earliest location for each block and lag times for all followers. Chainstack’s paid endpoint on Arbitrum mainnet was able to “win” 3724 to 555 against ZAN and also win 3822 to 553 against the comparable subscription by Dwellir. Each of these is one unique combination of block and region arrival time. Ofc, things can change quickly, so make sure you check yourself before you decide to get your own plans.
