Yesterday we delivered a minibus of presents and a cheque to the St Francis Family Centre. It is our privilege to support them every year with our Sixth Form Christmas appeal, and we particularly thank the nursery children for the beautiful thank you card. @CathChildW

Executive Headteacher JP Morrison is very proud of our students, saying that “their resilience, hard work, determination and desire to achieve in the face of such adversity and challenge has paid off. A wonderful day.”

Heads of Sixth Form, Mrs Livermore and Mr Warburton say they “are so proud of our Year 13, who are going on to some of the world’s top universities and excellent apprenticeships after a challenging and unprecedented few years. This is testament to their resilience and character."

We are also very proud to report that 8 of our students will begin their Nursing and Midwifery courses at Kings College London later this year and that one student will soon begin his training with the London Ambulance Service.

Bishop Challoner Sixth Form is proud to report another year of top A Level and Vocational results. Our Year 13 students will be continuing their education later this year at some of the most prestigious institutions in the country, as well as securing a number of apprenticeships.

Year 13 - school will be open for you to collect your results between 9:00-11:00 tomorrow. Please come in through the Commercial Road entrance and meet us in the library. Staff will be available throughout the morning to assist with any UCAS queries. We can’t wait to see you!

So many relieved and happy faces at our Year 13 Leavers lunch, which marks the end of exams. We are so proud of all of you!

The Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, also known as Candlemas, celebrates the moment Mary and Joseph fulfilled the Mosaic Law by setting apart their first-born for God. They offer the sacrifice of the poor, two doves, whilst presenting the one who is rich in love and mercy.
