A huge reason why people are getting married later and later is because it’s become socially acceptable to have sex and cohabitate with someone before you get married. People are having sex all the time, but without the covenantal commitment that makes it holy and beneficial. It takes courage to make a life-long commitment. And it takes integrity to stay true to that life-long commitment for your whole life―even the part of your life BEFORE you make that commitment to someone―by protecting your virginity before marriage so that you can give yourself solely to that one person whom you will marry. But we live in a selfish, shortsighted, cowardly generation, because they were never shown an example of selflessness, wisdom, and courage. To my fellow young men: it takes a stronger man to have a body count of 0 than it does to have a body count of 100. Don’t be controlled by your fleshly passions. The man with the most integrity is the one who surrenders his passions and desires to Yeshua (Jesus), so that He can make him into a new man―a steadfast, upright, blameless, honorable man―who submits to the commands of God Almighty rather than being enslaved by his own animalistic impulses. The man with the most integrity is the one who keeps himself holy for his present or future wife, holding onto virginity until marriage and then never ever abandoning the woman you marry. And if you’re living with a woman right now who’s not your wife, be a man and make a commitment. Marry her. Have honor, courage, and integrity. Be a real man, not the world’s warped version of a man.
