So I have a garage door opener from @Chamberlain and I have their myQ app to go with it. The app doesn’t work with Siri or Apple Shortcuts. It doesn’t integrate with Alexa or Google Home. There’s an Apple Watch app that doesn’t work. Most egregiously, the app does not support Car Play so you can’t open your garage door from your car’s screen. Makes me wonder whether the people at Chamberlain actively hate their users or they’re just wildly incompetent. Or both. It’s probably both.

@LordDraco3004 Thank you for your reply, Chamberlain model garage door openers manuals are now paperless and will have a QR code printed on the box with step-by-step instructions for installation. For assistance with Genie openers, you will need to reach out to Genie Support.

@Chamberlain They should be included in the box, per Google Genie still provides them. I shouldn't have to download them in the first place.

@Chamberlain , I don't think I will be getting another gargage door from you. The installation was not included in the box and I had to get them online. I don't know how much slop the chain is supposed to be because I had it at the end and there was still slop.

@marke_trader You will also want to ensure the LOCK button on the wall control is not ON. If the Lock feature is on the remotes will not operate the door, turn the LOCK feature on the wall control off and test your remotes. If you need further assistance, please send us a direct message! 🙂
