Not to be a debbie downer but the Lakers aren't beating OKC even with Luka. I don't get why Laker fans are so pressed about wanting our 27-year-old star to rush a grade 2 hamstring injury just to get beat anyways. I think the Lakers staff are 100% taking the right approach w/ him

@TheBHentel The genuine answer is running back. Now the skill gap of a great running back can make the position more important but rbs are literally a dime a dozen. You can find a decent rb anywhere

To me, Luka has to be the one who learns how to fit in. If he wants to WIN, playing off the ball sometimes is necessary. LeBron can still be the best player on the floor & raise the ceiling of your team in a way that NOBODY else can. Let Bron be Bron and the sky is the limit.

I am 100% behind Devin Booker here. Last night was not a good look for our league. Let me be clear, we didn’t lose because of officiating, but that doesn’t make last night any less important. If the referees are going to demand respect from the players - as they should - then the players should demand respect from the referees. When a referee is missing calls and clearly disrespecting the players, almost mocking them, they must be held accountable. Nobody who loves this game enjoyed watching that last night. They want to see the players compete at the highest level. The league needs be far more aggressive about this kind of thing. All players and all fans deserve it.

2 of our top 3 guys going down definitely isn’t something to celebrate, but seeing Bron back in this 1st option role in one of… if not his final playoff run (who knows what the future holds), playing with that fire we’re so accustomed to seeing from him over the years, leading a team that everyone wrote off to a 2-0 lead & flipping narratives/media opinions in real time… it’s truly a spectacle.
