The C-130s didn't crash and they were not shot down. They landed them and they got stuck in the sand so they blew it up because America isn't poor and can afford to send more planes. It's why they ordered so many of them in the first place. It's an insurance plan, a contingency for situations just like this.
This is literally how rich people do things and it's why they're able to spend hundreds of millions of dollars rescuing a pilot who cost a fraction of the cost to train. It's why rich people succeed while broke bitches moan about the cost.
It's worth it because the moral victory is worth it and you can't put a price on that anyway.

The day he was sworn in was the same day the Admin issued the proclamation declaring we’d return to the moon by 2028.

The defense secretary is supposed to approve or reject the entire list, precisely to prevent this kind of targeted discrimination.
Then Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George - the Army’s top officer - asked to meet with Hegseth to discuss the blocked promotions. Hegseth refused to meet. Refused to discuss his decisions at all.
Then he fired George. Whose term wasn’t supposed to end until September 2027.
Nine U.S. officials across all four branches confirmed the NBC reporting. “There is not a single service that has been immune,” one said. The officers’ attributes being cited for removal include past support for Covid vaccine mandates… and association with Mark Milley.
The Pentagon’s response to every outlet that asked: “fake news.”
