Now comes the funny part - they have attributed this video to X handle ChapraZila. How unprofessional is this department? We expect this department to share updates from their side but instead they are sourcing their info from a meme handle. It's not even an infra or index handle. Bihar, please change for good.

His name was Rajan. He was a final year engineering student at the Regional Engineering College in Calicut, Kerala. His father, T V Eachara Varier, was a Hindi professor at the Government Arts and Science College in the same city. On the morning of March 1 1976 the police came to the college campus and took Rajan away. India was under Emergency. Civil liberties were suspended. Courts had effectively turned away. His father found out the next day from the college principal. He went to every police station in the district. No one admitted to having his son. He met the Home Minister of Kerala, K Karunakaran, directly. He sent petitions to the Home Secretary of the Government of Kerala three times. Not a single reply or acknowledgement came. He wrote to the President of India and the Home Minister of the central government, with copies to every Member of Parliament from Kerala. Nothing. What Eachara Varier did not know at the time was that his son had been taken to an illegal police interrogation camp at Kakkayam. He was tortured. A practice called uruttal was used, where a heavy wooden log is rolled over the body of the victim. Rajan died from his injuries. His body was disposed of by the police and was never found. When the Emergency ended in 1977 Eachara Varier filed a habeas corpus petition in the Kerala High Court. It was the first such petition filed in Kerala after the Emergency. He did it without legal training, without political backing, without money. He had spent everything searching for his son. The court case slowly unravelled the truth. It forced K Karunakaran to resign as Chief Minister of Kerala in 1978 when the adverse judgment came. Rajan’s mother became mentally unstable from the grief. She died in 2000 still not knowing where her son was. Eachara Varier wrote his memoir, Memories of a Father, which won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 2004. In its final lines he wrote, “I don’t close the door. Let the rain lash inside and drench me. Let at least my invisible son know that his father never shut the door.” He died on April 13 2006. He never found his son’s body. Rajan was picked up from his college campus on a March morning in 1976. He was never seen again. Repost this. Some stories must not be allowed to disappear.

While your point on her determination remains valid. But consider this: she appeared 1st for UPSC exam in 2010 and finally got a posting in 2015. She could have done much better at Cadbury etc and moved ahead in life than wasting 5 precious years at a young age. Are UPSC jobs worthy of this much time??

Her name is Ira Singhal. She was born on August 31 1983 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She has scoliosis, a spinal disorder that curves the spine and restricts arm movement. Her parents never treated her differently from other children. She completed a degree in computer engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology in Delhi. Then an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. She worked at Cadbury India as a strategy manager and interned at Coca Cola. Then she decided she wanted to become an IAS officer. In 2010 she cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination in her first attempt. She was allocated the Indian Revenue Service. Then the government told her she could not join. The reason they gave was that her disability meant she was unable to push, pull or lift. She had cleared one of the hardest examinations in the country. The government said she was not fit to serve. She filed a case at the Central Administrative Tribunal. While waiting for the verdict she appeared for UPSC again in 2011 and cleared it. She was given IRS again. Still no posting. She appeared again in 2013. Cleared it again. Still nothing. She appeared for the fourth time in 2014 while her case was still pending in court. In May 2015 the results were declared. Ira Singhal had secured All India Rank 1. The highest score in the entire country that year. She scored 1082 marks out of 2025. She became the first differently abled woman in India’s history to top the UPSC Civil Services Examination. In her first posting as Sub Divisional Magistrate in Alipur, North Delhi, she rescued 340 child and bonded labourers and restored them to their families. All within one year. She said this once: “Make your plans. No one knows you like you do. Do not wait for someone else to validate your dreams.” The government that said she could not push or pull watched her clear UPSC four times and top it on the fourth. Follow for stories India deserves to remember.

बिहार में जमीन रजिस्ट्री के नए नियम — मुख्य बातें अब बिहार में बिना CO (अंचलाधिकारी) की जांच रिपोर्ट के जमीन की रजिस्ट्री नहीं होगी। सरकार ने फर्जीवाड़ा, गलत कागजात और बढ़ते जमीन विवाद रोकने के लिए नई व्यवस्था लागू की है। खरीदार और विक्रेता दोनों को पहले ई-निबंधन पोर्टल पर ऑनलाइन आवेदन करना होगा। आवेदन के साथ खाता, खेसरा, जमाबंदी, रकबा और चौहद्दी सहित सभी दस्तावेज अपलोड करना अनिवार्य होगा। आवेदन के बाद संबंधित अंचल कार्यालय जमीन की भौतिक और दस्तावेजी जांच करेगा। CO की रिपोर्ट में बताया जाएगा कि जमीन सरकारी है या निजी। रिपोर्ट में यह भी स्पष्ट होगा कि दस्तावेज सही हैं या नहीं। विक्रेता का जमीन पर दावा वैध है या नहीं, इसकी भी पुष्टि की जाएगी। अधिकारियों को 10 दिनों के अंदर जांच रिपोर्ट देने का निर्देश दिया गया है। नई व्यवस्था से फर्जी रजिस्ट्री और जमीन धोखाधड़ी के मामलों में कमी आने की उम्मीद है। जमीन खरीद-बिक्री प्रक्रिया अब ज्यादा पारदर्शी और सुरक्षित बनने का दावा। असली असर: ईमानदार खरीदार को सुरक्षा मिलेगी, लेकिन प्रक्रिया पहले से धीमी और अधिक कागजी हो सकती है। बड़ा सवाल: क्या अंचल कार्यालय 10 दिन की समयसीमा वास्तव में निभा पाएंगे? यही इस व्यवस्था की असली परीक्षा होगी।

माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री @samrat4bjp जी का हार्दिक धन्यवाद। बिहार में जमीन खरीद-बिक्री में फर्जीवाड़ा रोकने हेतु 15 मई 2026 से लागू की जा रही नई रजिस्ट्री नीति एक ऐतिहासिक और जनहितकारी कदम है। अब अंचलाधिकारी (CO) की जांच रिपोर्ट अनिवार्य होने से जमीन का खाता, खेसरा, जमाबंदी एवं स्वामित्व संबंधी विवरण पारदर्शी रूप से सत्यापित हो सकेगा। यह निर्णय आम लोगों को धोखाधड़ी, फर्जी दस्तावेज़ और भूमि विवादों से सुरक्षा प्रदान करेगा तथा व्यवस्था में पारदर्शिता और विश्वास को मजबूत करेगा। बिहार में सुशासन और भूमि सुधार की दिशा में यह एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है।

Yet one of Bihar’s most important ministries is allegedly being handed over to him simply because he is the son of Nitish Kumar. This is the same Bihar where patients still struggle for basic healthcare, government hospitals remain overcrowded, and thousands of families are forced to travel outside the state for proper treatment. At a time when people expected competence, experience, and accountability, they are being offered political inheritance instead. What message does this send to ordinary young Indians?
