I went and saw a large 5 bedroom home this weekend, can someone tell me why there were MULTIPLE empty-nester boomers also viewing the property? It was a property 100% for a large family, not two older people

As an American and a huge fan of the sport of skating I am so proud of @the_quadg0d today. How you act in your roughest moments says more about your than how you act in your biggest victories. The graciousness he showed to the gold medal winner, the composure in the post interview all showed who he is. He will win many gold medals in his career - but he will also remain an amazing human and frankly that matters more!

Not 100% sure this will work but if you are suffering from the @Verizon outage you may wish to try it. I am a former VZ exec. Try reverting your phone to LTE. from your setting menu select cellular, then select cellular data options, then select voice and data and unselect 5G and select LTE. Hope it helps!

I have a cleaning lady who comes to my house every other week. She's super hardworking, really nice, and I completely trust her. She comes while I'm at work and I get to come home to a clean house! the best feeling. One time she told me she drank a can of Pepsi from my fridge and even asked if she should pay me back. I told her she has my permission to take a break and eat/ drink whatever she needs while she's there. Since then she'll occasionally have a pop, a glass of juice, once she said she had a piece of toast. She's never helped herself to any meals, snacks, or anything beyond that. My bf was over the other night and said he saw my cleaning lady "stealing from the fridge." I told him she wasn't stealing lol she has my permission, and she's definitely not sitting around being lazy. She was taking a break! My bf said it's weird, unprofessional, and that it could lead to boundary crossing. I told him I've known this woman for two years and nothing like that has ever happened. My bf thinks I should fire her before it gets WORSE. I don't understand HIS logic. Am I wrong for thinking: like why change something that's been working perfectly fine? Am I being weird?

Mine has almost doubled - it was already egregiously high last year when I was under the impression mine was so high to “help” pay for others after all $2,700 a month for two healthy people is a bit steep but I thought ok I am helping others. Now it’s $4,700 a month - that’s untenable.

@MatrixMysteries Why in the world did you need FOUR degrees? That’s the root cause here - I sense a professional student who now has realized at some point you kinda have to work!

“Can someone explain how I have 4 DEGREES and still can’t get a job?” BA in Communication. BA in Spanish. BFA in Dance. Master’s in Journalism. Years of school. Massive debt. Zero payoff. She didn’t fail the system — the system sold her a scam.

@AndrewYang They need to do a year extension and then find another approach during that year because clearly this health plan isn’t working when we need to subsidize it at this rate

Truly awful that the Obamacare subsidies are being allowed to elapse - millions of Americans are going to see their health care premiums spike in January because neither side would give in to the other side. As usual the people lose.

Make no mistake BOTH PARTIES own the increase in health care premiums they are both holding us hostage to get what they want.....let's vote them all out in the next election. Time for new people in all parties!

BREAKING: Republicans blocked our clean, three-year extension of the ACA tax credits—guaranteeing health insurance premiums skyrocket for millions in the new year.   The GOP owns the health care crisis to come.

Yes a one year extension is the right approach - why can't both parties just do this today and stop this nonsense? Has anyone thought what they are doing to the retail industry as consumers don't spend for the holidays because they are worried about their healthcare cost? Or are you just trying to ensure Amazon gets all the business last minute when you announce this vs local stores???

I voted for our 3-year extension of Obamacare tax credits. This vote was designed to fail. I want to vote on a bill that could PASS and deliver TRUE affordable health care. That’s why I’ve been calling for a clean 1-year extension. Let’s stop playing games and deliver actual relief.

I am hitting out against ALL biased reporting on this issue now. No it is not just their issue it's both parties you are all incapable of comprising and finding an answer that helps us. Make a 12 month commit to subsidies vs 3 years to give time to work them but stop the divided approach here.....none of us voted for this from either party!

At the end of the month, when your health care premiums have skyrocketed, remember that Democrats had a plan to lower costs by extending the ACA tax credits, and Republicans refused to vote with us. This health care crisis and its insanely high prices are all Republicans' doing.

Some people don’t seem to understand the difference between someone having opinions they don’t like and someone having opinions that are actually morally reprehensible. One requires debate and one requires "cancelling" - can you tell the difference? How?

@DerrickEvans4WV That seems like a gross generalization - I highly doubt everyone on SNAP is eating better than everyone working. Stop the shock videos and have real discussions about food insecurity!

Great point we should have much better healthcare but if we reduced foreign aid and military spending then the country that your "friend" (I guess what we call a reddit thread these days!) might not be able to keep enjoying his free stuff and have to protect his own country instead?

From a friend overseas: “Apologies if this comes across in a dickish way, but coming from a country with free healthcare including prescriptions, free college and university at world class institutions, 35 days paid holidays etc., I find it so sad that Americans get completely screwed by their government. The thing is, you could afford all this “free” stuff too if all your taxes weren’t spent on an outrageously huge military that keeps starting wars.”

@SenWarren Perhaps you don't understand how your salary is paid either? The Tech firms listed are a massive part of our economy employing people and paying taxes...this post feels like you are reaching and trying to demonize the tech industry.
