A wolf bringing prey to a brown bear so the two could share a meal. Photographer Lassi Rautiainen captured the unlikely bond after observing the pair eating, sleeping, and spending time together over the course of 10 days before eventually going their separate ways.

Very sad news. Judith was the reassuring voice of travel for a generation, bringing the world into British living rooms long before the internet made it easy. Through Wish You Were Here…?, she had a way of making even the most ordinary package holiday feel like something special. You can almost picture it now, an early 1980s European break from as little as £69 per person for 17 nights, with coach travel, modest accommodation, sunshine, and the promise of getting away at a price ordinary families could actually dream about. Sunbeds claimed before breakfast, a busy pool filled with inflatables, and evenings around a simple hotel buffet. It was all part of a very British holiday ritual, and Judith captured it with warmth and charm. Rest in peace.
