@nickfitz07 I understand how this looks and some sections there was a lot of orange! I do want to point out as a photographer/videographer that two of those photos were after the game ended while obviously the state gas have already exited.

@DudyNobleField All they did is take two weeks off the end of summer and add those to have two weeks for fall break and a two week spring break. They would have started next week anyway.

Picking son up from baseball camp yesterday.. small talk with another dad. One of his first questions was what team do yall play on? I said none we play rec ball he’s only six. Ohh we play on X team. Like it was some exclusive deal. In my mind, ok cool they have 4 different teams. Literally anyone can play for them if they pay. If you haven’t figured out by now I’m anti travel sports at a young age. It’s parents and money driving the insanity. 1. The drama is relentless 2. Your kids are going to suffer long term physically and mentally. Playing 4-8 games in a day some after midnight at 8 years old is psycho. Do that 4-5 years and your kids will probably hate the sport they are playing and possibly have major resentment toward you especially if you are extremely hard on them. But little Billy needs the competition. It’s Coach pitch. A good pitcher can many times hit their bats. Traveling 2 hours is time you could go rep in a cage or on a field with much more benefit. There’s an age where playing against appropriate competition is necessary, but it’s not in coach pitch. I love sports more than 99.99% of people and played more than probably that many. Your kids being kids and being rounded is going to benefit them more than playing tournaments every other weekend. I will die on this sword.
