Wokehammer made the wisest decision of their lives by blocking most of us on sight. There’s a point where we had honed in on their disdain for 40k and they just couldn’t fane passion or interest in the face of all the criticism with any real believability. At least now she’s straightforward about her dislike of it with her unprompted description of it. What’s “dumb toys” to her is to us a rich setting, a space for sci-fi and fantasy fans to gather and enjoy it, a bonding experience between like spirited individuals. A game that can be passed from parent to child and a community space where real joy is had in spite of our awkwardness. Most of us are here because grifters (if left unchallenged with no voices counter to their own) will turn the fandom into a space full of haters who in all actuality look down their noses at what the vast majority of us cherish. Look to the battle of Geonosis, for example. The Commandos especially felt this. 66 was very capable of happening without some chip.
