@OrevaZSN I retired recently. My experience 40 hours and a good job are not reality. Have a high paying job that supports a middle class lifestyle(not rich). More like 50 -60 hours. Forget about work life balance. Glad I retired now I am going to enjoy my last few years.

It almost feels like Earth was made perfectly for humans, with water falling from the sky and food growing naturally, yet we still ended up in a system where people need credit scores, two jobs, and a 40 hour work week just to survive.

@sanegrain Me and my wife went to McDonald’s- I got a big arch and large fries. Wife got filet o fish large fries was $17. Time for ham sandwiches on road trips.

When traveling, instead of McDonald’s drive thru, we pack bologna sandwiches. Old ways.
