@wayneriekhof And then there was the time when an undergrad worker of mine at the PRL submitted a fraudulent, grossly inflated time card. I caught him and fired him. Two years later, he applied to grad school at Purdue. I was on the admissions committee.

Reminds me of the time a former student responded to an email in which I called him out for cheating and chronic, obvious lying to his TA. He responded with “Go f—k yourself bro, I thought we were friends!” 3 years later he wrote to ask for a letter of rec for grad school 😬😂

@DavidBLowry I did that trail over 30 years ago now (when I was also at MSU). It was awesome. I'm guessing the bathroom facilities haven't improved much though.
