Most teams don’t get rid of a cost controlled young player coming off 30 goals and 67 points at 22 years old. Curious why Boston did? Might want to dig a little. Boston had major concerns about his pre disposition of hips issues and health overall. There was also sold off ice issues. Nonetheless, Tyler and his agent fought it with management but Boston didn’t trust those hips … turns out they weren’t wrong.

Nikita Kucherov is an all world player, one of the best I’ve seen. But Leon Draisaitl, to me, is still the consensus third best player in the league. Kucherov’s playoff shortcomings the last 3 seasons are more worthy; while Draisaitl elevates his game at historic rates. Do you agree, or am I being too harsh?
