Hello Rebecca Perrotto, We are the Solana team behind Asteroid Shiba, and we previously worked with the Eth team in the early stages of the project. Our goal is to further expand the awareness of Asteroid Shiba and continue building meaningful impact through charitable initiatives. One of the key inspirations behind our mission comes from the story in 2022, when young Liv was invited by the Polaris Dawn mission crew to design a zero-gravity indicator plush. Inspired by Elon Musk’s Shiba Inu, Floki, she sketched “Asteroid” in about 30 minutes. Her creation later flew to space as the official zero-gravity indicator during the Polaris Dawn mission in September 2024. Proceeds from the replica plushies were donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and we are committed to continuing and expanding this kind of real-world impact moving forward.
