Someone asked on X why Elon Musk always takes his son, X Æ A-Xii, to high level business meetings, including his trip to China.
I was also wondering, but then I remembered I had read about the psychology behind things like this in a book before, and the patterns were consistent.
The child serves many purposes, but I can only share two and withhold the remaining three because I might need them in the future.
The first purpose is safety. The child protects Elon in public more than he protects himself.
The second is psychological. It becomes difficult to turn down his offers or requests because the child softens you immediately they arrive. You try to be nice and playful with the child, lose your guard in the process, and boom, Elon strikes. At that point, you’re more likely to say YES.
This is not something you can do with every child. You have to raise/train your child for things like this. Some of you are raising children who can’t stay calm when necessary, they might just mess things up for you.
Do this with a child you can pass instructions to, and they immediately play along. Like I said, na your duty to train one to that level. Children are like computers; whatever you program into them becomes part of who they are. I love children, they are the future.

A South African lady called Xingashe Asanda wrote this on her Facebook page
Here’s an interesting fact: I am in Korea on a work visa (Scarce skill worker and i can never be a waiter or teach any other subject except English), and my visa is valid for one year. Every year, I have to prove to Korean immigration that I am still medically fit, that I haven’t committed any crimes during that year, and that I am still employed in order for them to renew my visa. They will only renew my visa if I can prove that I am of good use to their country.
Furthermore, if during that year I decide to move from my apartment to a new one for any reason, I have 14 days to go back to immigration and inform them that I have changed my address. If I am even a day late and go on day 16, I will have to pay a fine, which can cost anything from R2,000 to R13,000.
As a South African, I am also not allowed to participate in any protests happening in the country. If there is a crowd of Korean people protesting for whatever reason, I, as Phindile, cannot be found in that crowd because I could be deported. Before I got my Korean ID, I wasn’t even able to own a korean cellphone number or even order anything online.
I am therefore in this country legally, and I make sure that I abide by their laws because I know that if I don’t, I will be sent back home with no negotiations. Does this mean Korea is xenophobic? No. This is a country making sure that its citizens and the country itself are protected. A country making sure that guests know their place!
Why are South Africans being made to feel bad for wanting the same thing?
