Thokozani 🌿 There are a few spiritual truths people don’t speak about enough, and some of them need to be said with honesty. 1. There is a difference between a medical condition and a calling. Not everything is idlozi. Not everything is ubizo. Some things need medical attention, not drums, candles, bones and confusion. Be careful of being misdiagnosed spiritually and then being pushed into things that were never yours to carry. Some people were told to thwasa when what they really needed was a doctor, therapy, treatment or proper healing. 2. Be careful doing spiritual work from your father’s side if there are unresolved damages there. If there are things not settled, especially on the paternal side, this can open doors to ukubangwa, spiritual conflict and unnecessary warfare. Not every door must be opened before things are corrected. 3. If you have ever been raped or sexually violated, please seek cleansing and healing. Some traumas do not leave the body, the spirit, or the womb space easily. Violation can leave behind heavy spiritual residue, pain, fear, blockage and cycles that continue silently if never dealt with. Healing is not only physical or emotional sometimes it must also be spiritual. 4. Your stepfather’s ancestors can also protect you. If your stepfather has done things the right way and has spiritually accepted you into his life and family, his lineage can also become a shield over you. Some children are deeply loved and spiritually covered by the family that raised them, not only the family that made them. 5. Some children are meant to work from the father’s side or carry the father’s surname spiritually. Especially when there are unresolved issues, confusion, blockages or heavy bloodline matters on the mother’s side. Sometimes a child’s alignment is not where emotions want it to be it is where the spirit needs it to be. 6. Please tell your children the truth. A child raised in lies grows into confusion. And confusion in childhood often becomes pain, identity issues, anger, rejection and spiritual instability later in life. Some wounds are not caused by witchcraft they are caused by family lies. 7. Sometimes ancestors do not appear in your dreams because of your environment. Your environment matters spiritually. Where you sleep, who you sleep with, the energy around you, what enters your space, and the condition of your life can all interfere with spiritual communication. Not every silence means abandonment sometimes your environment is too noisy spiritually. 8. Not all ancestors respond to uphahla. Some respond to prayer. This is something many people don’t understand. Spirituality is not one size fits all. Not everybody is meant to phahla. For some, prayer opens doors. For others, silence, dreams, church, water, fasting or other spiritual instructions are what work. This is why some people start uphahla and suddenly things become worse because they are doing what was never assigned to them. 9. Please stop doing rituals while renting, in unstable relationships, or in spaces that are not spiritually aligned. Doing rituals in a place of confusion, chaos, disrespect, lust, hidden fights and unstable foundations can invite unnecessary spiritual disturbance. Not every place is fit to become an altar or umsamo. 10. If your life is not moving and you are doing vat en sit, go home. Sometimes your blessings are not delayed by witchcraft. Sometimes you are sitting on your own blessings. You are trying to force a life in a place where your spirit was never meant to settle. Not every relationship is love. Not every house is home. Not every stay is alignment. Spirituality needs discernment. Not everything is an attack. Not everything is a calling. Not everything is ancestors. And not everything must be copied just because “other people are doing it.” Some of you don’t need more rituals. You need truth, order, healing, alignment and discernment. Cyril Ramaphosa to Unveil R22 Million Mandela and Tambo Statues in Durban President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to unveil two R22 million bronze statues honouring struggle stalwarts Nelson Mandela and Oliver Tambo in Durban today. The Mandela statue will be erected at the Moses Mabhida Stadium precinct, while Tambo’s statue will stand along the beachfront promenade. The project, commissioned by the eThekwini Municipality, aims to honour the leaders’ role in South Africa’s liberation struggle and boost heritage tourism, though the multimillion-rand price tag has sparked public debate.
