It’s a unanimous vote for the RESALE Act! Without a doubt, this is the most pro-fan, pro-consumer law in the country. The resale system has been rigged against our residents, our artists, & our venues. Everyone has been getting ripped off & that changes with today’s vote!

Our parade organizers got a call at 11 last night. Several school marching bands, making the DC trip for parade downtown, devastated when it was cancelled. We welcomed the kids into our Capitol Hill 4th of July. Bonus: a jam session learning DC go-go with Too Much Talent Band.

What an amazing 4th of July parade in Capitol Hill! So glad to have @Janeese4DC @RobertWhite_DC & @ChmnMendelson join me! Barracks Row was packed, @EasternHS Marching Band set the tone, & the jam session with Too Much Talent and a marching band from Nebraska was epic.

Of course, if you want a great slice of small town Americana this July 4th. Join me at the annual Barracks Row parade! Best parade in America 🇺🇸! It’s steps off at 10am at 8th & I Street SE, and wraps up 3.5 blocks later at Eastern Market Metro! Beads, candy, flags, & more!

Like today, it’s going to be hot again tomorrow! Afternoon temps will break 100 again. @DCDPR has pools and splash pads open, as well as rec centers for cooling off in the AC if you need it.

That’s right! But great news for DC residents & concert goers. Our amendment to restore the price cap on secondary ticket resale passed. This will rein in that price gouging driving up costs. After our amendment, the RESALE Act was approved unanimously yesterday!
