We are heartbroken 💔 our wonderful friend Florence died today after a massive stroke 😭😭😭 She was 11 years old. We have many wonderful memories of our time with her. Rest in peace Flo. We will love you always 💔💔🌈🌈😭😭💔💔🌈😭

Pals - a brief health update. My allergic bronchitis has been worse than usual, & I’ve lost weight. X-rays have shown pneumonia in my right lung, so I’m on medication. I’m improving & eating well & had a run with pals yesterday, so doing ok. Mom is on full-time nursing duty. 💊🩻

Had a chippy tea last night. We haven’t had anything from there in at least a year. Large bag of chips, 2 medium fish and a chicken and mushroom pie. £21.10 I think that’s mad! Is that a lot or about right?

Cannot believe we are having to write this again and so soon but, our beautiful Dixie left us to go be with Kylie this morning. She fought hard but the struggle without her sister and protector was too great. The only peace we have is knowing they are together again. 💔

@EscapedHere Poor you. My sister always took path scraps from her greyhound, Charlie, as he had pancreatitus. One such tussle resulted in an open fracture to her thumb & antibiotics. Being on a restricted diet, we still think that Charlie mistook it for a sausage 🤣

2/2 a lesson and snap back. Guess whose thumb was in the intervening space. It could have been so much worse. My shout stopped them in their tracks. Both are now trying to tell me that they’re sorry. I never need to tell them off usually so it’s shocked us all. I think

They’ll share a water bowl, a yoghurt lick pot and curl up together but Kipp becomes snarky when it’s dinner time so we keep them apart. Except tonight he pinned puck in a corner because he thought it was time to eat. I intervened & Puck decided today was the day to teach K 1/2

Picked this up on my Alnwick visit last week. Started last night and struggling to put it down!

@HollyGreyhound Oh my goodness😲It looks like the time I had a skin cancer removed. 1st person came out with a plaster, 2nd a dressing & I left with a huge pressure bandage looking like Dr had attempted brain surgery. Next person looked very worried🤣 Wishing you a speedy recovery💐

We has been up since silly o’clock and dragged out in the dark cos mum has one of her hoperations today. Thank dog we can sleep in while she’s out 🥱😴😴

Lilly had her leg amputated 💖💔. Sadly after we got Lilly straight to Raheny Veterinary Hospital with a broken leg from an awful situation in Limerick, it could not be saved. Today it was amputated, our gorgeous nervous little girl did so well, a trooper. Breaks our hearts the cruelty and trauma this young dog has suffered 💔. Organising work secret santas was bad enough, & that was only 10 peeps in 1 office, so we can only imagine the amount of work for the houndie one. Maybe keep us on standby for any multi-hound household where there's a gift missing😊
