@CharlieBarnicle @HJJ92_ @Danny_EFC6 No, the vocal minority haven’t been happy. As just stated, theyve been in crisis, whilst we’ve been steadily going along. Only serious dip in results was around AFCON/KDH injury - before/since results have been on the whole more than fine 👍

If only there was one team who’ve been steady all year, avoided such crises, and still well in the Europe fight so late in the season despite their own challenges

@FamousEFC_1878 @HJJ92_ @Danny_EFC6 You've just explained why the league has ended up in the position where we should be fighting. Forest and Spurs have been in crisis, Palace have been too with Glasner. Fulham don't. Brighton want their manager out, Bournemouth had huge squad overhaul.

Spurs have a lot more than us, Forest have similar, Fulham, Brighton, Brentford, Palace, Bournemouth would all argue they have better squads than us. Even those in Europe in have squads deep enough to balance it in theory

@FamousEFC_1878 @HJJ92_ @Danny_EFC6 We finished 8th, on more points than we got in 17/18, under Silva in his first year. It then just fell apart due to recruitment, luck, language, how he handles pressure. It was fine job overall though really.

That squad is decent, results have been fine for us to be there, but it's no unbelievable job. Performance wise it's been poor, and other concerns are there.

One is a keeper Two missed 7 games across December and January One has started 5 matches all season One will miss rest of season and will have started less than half our games

@FamousEFC_1878 @HJJ92_ @Danny_EFC6 Tarkowski's a solid mid table player, Grealish hasn't missed that so far, Garner's high mid table (and that's as someone who's harsher than most on him). Obviously it can, especially when some other teams have dropped off for various reasons.

@CharlieBarnicle @HJJ92_ @Danny_EFC6 Pickford, Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall all are I agree (2 of which missed a number of games in most dense part of season) Branthwaite and Grealish both are too (both missed half the season each with injury) Nobody else in that squad is anywhere near Europe level

@FamousEFC_1878 @HJJ92_ @Danny_EFC6 Results will fall short if you aren't playing well. That's 3 games, extend the sample size to January and yes it's limping, the whole league is really hence it being this tight.

@HJJ92_ @CharlieBarnicle @Danny_EFC6 Performance is subjective, but matters about 5% as much as results. Limping, mad way to describe a run of three games including beating Newcastle away, Burnley at home and a very late defeat away to Arsenal, all of which we played well in.

@FamousEFC_1878 @HJJ92_ @Danny_EFC6 We only beat Villa away 2 years ago, lost to Bournemouth at home. Those 2 are just a bit irrelevant as stats. Says a lot about the league not us, still as close as we are to 14th. results have been fine but it's fair to have complaints.

We’ve endured Dyche, Lampard, Benitez in last 4 years, and with a very finisher team Moyes has us 8th with 7 to play ffs
