I have been talking with silver mining CEOs to try to understand the impact this has will on Vizsla Silver and other companies in Mexico. 1) the Vizsla Silver Panuco mine will be delayed and be much more expensive to build and operate. Staff and experts will demand more money, security expenses will skyrocket 2) Vizsla Silver will likely have to sell the Panuco mine project to a Mexican group that can better deal with the Sinaloa cartel. Part of the issue is the locals don’t want foreigners taking their wealth. 3) anyone investing in silver mining stocks in Mexico needs to consider the drug cartel risk in the area. Some areas of Mexico are worse than others.
