South Carolina’s offensive execution in clutch time has been remarkably good.

Bad news for bubble teams. Columbia just grabbed the Ivy AQ for now with a 2nd win over Princeton. The Tigers are still an at-large for now, which takes away an at-large spot—ASU falls out.

This is not a criticism of the data. It’s just an observation. Vanderbilt’s NET ranking stayed the same (7) after last night’s win. No improvement. And the Commodores are 3-0 against the teams directly in front of them (Texas (4), LSU (5), Michigan (6).

I’m not sure I have seen a young guard play with as much confidence against the outstanding Texas defense as @VandyWBB Aubrey Galvan. She is unbothered by anything.

Madison Booker had one field goal and Texas wins by double digits against a really good Kentucky team. As good as Texas is I did have that on the prediction board. That’s what defense can do.

Too many turnovers and too many missed free throws but Kentucky is still in this game with Texas and a real opportunity to steal one in a tough place to play.

Really nice to see Ta'Niya Latson back for @GamecockWBB and looking completely healthy after the ankle injury that cost her three games.

Well, 2026 is certainly off to a zany start. In the last 3 days No. 5, 6, 7, 8 in the most recent AP poll have gone down. Three of those teams had been undefeated. Strap in for a wild ride. The scramble for No. 2, 3, 4 seeds is full throttle.

Huge win and upset by @IlliniWBB over Maryland. Major addition to the resume, but an even bigger stunner happened nearly simultaneously with Georgia Tech taking down Notre Dame.

The last two minutes of the Chargers-Texans game has been more like unintentional comedy than NFL football.

@philbrick_w Stephen, I think the issue is misinterpretation of Bracketology. It’s a snap shot of the current state, what the bracket would like if the bracket was selected today. How many .500 teams have ever been an 8-9 seed?
