At Sarah Lawrence College, the Student Senate rejected the application of J Street U, with student senators comparing recognizing the group to approving “a white supremacist organization.” According to JTA, one senator remarked that they were concerned about “the whole Zionist language” of the group “that’s still furthering the same logic of Israeli sovereignty and self-determination when there is no existence or security for Israel that’s not contingent on Palestinian displacement, on apartheid, on genocide.” Senators told J Street U, "What the students here are invested in is Palestinian liberation. And there’s no existence or advocation for Israeli or Zionist security that can co-exist with Palestinian liberation. The normalization of Zionism and of Israel is what students are opposed to.” The senators further asked whether J Street U “would fulfill a unique political/cultural space on campus that doesn’t already exist across different clubs [referring to the anti-Zionist Jewish Voice for Peace, Hillel, and the campus chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine]." When J Street U appealed the decision, the senate rejected the appeal as well. At the March appeal meeting, a faculty member who wanted to attend was told that at the last minute, the senate decided only two people would be permitted at the appeal, and they would only be granted 10 minutes to make their case. The administration, despite being lobbied by a faculty petition signed by more than 20 faculty members, has refused to intervene, with the school’s dean of students, Dave Stanfield, telling the JTA that Sarah Lawrence’s administration “does not intervene in the process unless there is a clear violation of policy.” Read more: jta.org/2026/05/13/uni…

NYC - Mental health provider Jennifer Koonings filmed herself shouting antisemitic slurs - "baby killers" and "f*ck Israel" - at Jewish individuals peacefully going about their day. This isn’t a lapse in judgment. It raises serious concerns about her fitness to treat patients, especially Jewish clients. She's affiliated with Inspire Mental Health Services.

BREAKING: Two Florida teenagers were arrested after insulting and spraying liquid from a water gun at a Jewish group in Miami Beach. Last month, Michael Dean Emerson, 19, and Dominic Angelo Martinez, 18, stopped their vehicle near a group of visibly Jewish people wearing yarmulkas, screamed obscenities at the group, including “Jews! Jews!,” and sprayed the victims in the face with an unknown liquid from a toy gun. The attack occurred around 1:20 am in Miami Beach as the Jewish men were returning from the synagogue. The duo in the car was so aggressive that of the victims first thought it was a real gun and feared for his life. Education on antisemitism right now is so catastrophic that two teenagers thought a fun night out would be spraying Jews in the face and shouting antisemitic slurs at them in the middle of the night. Kids need to be better educated NOW, before they choose to shoot Jews with a real gun instead of a water gun.

BREAKING: On Thursday night, the kosher restaurant Kokoriko in Paris, France 🇫🇷 was sprayed with acid. When employees arrived Friday morning, they found the restaurant destroyed. The door had been forced, and both the ground floor and first floor were covered in acid: tables, walls, and floors alike. This kosher restaurant has already been vandalized multiple times recently, including a previous acid attack. The owner will file a complaint for the third time following this week’s assault. The last time Jewish-owned businesses in France were targeted and forced to close like this was in the 1940s. Antisemitism in France is completely out of control.

The university has received reports alleging a member of the faculty shared offensive content during course instruction. The content in question has been removed, and a formal inquiry has been initiated consistent with relevant university policy.
