New area (not the shitty overworld one) and the world quest were very enjoyable, although yeah no denying atp that exploration has been streamlined very very hard. Also tested the new local legends, absurdly easy with shill, seems nightmarish without. Especially geoshroom.

Also I think from this patch and forward people are really gonna start to feel the consequences of Stygian and how we get damn near no pulls or resources while expected to not just have 3 teams, but 3 constantly adaptive ones with the absurd shill and hp inflation.

I'm getting such a headache trying to evaluate Nicole. Honestly, she is such an absurdly account-dependant unit in terms of pull value as of 6.6. Maybe some dumbass witch team gets 200k kqms dps or some shit in the future and she just becomes dedicated support #12589, idk.

@EliraEclipse @ReidVontae It’s a bit of a false narrative that everyone assumes is true. Like there’s dire 6 clears in skirk shill boss with dahlia candace and the other banner 4* lol. No Furina no escoffier and c0 skirk. Genshin has a lot of skill expressions that I think players just don’t know about.

People have more valid reason to complain over this now because Genshin characters are getting more restrictive, needing specific characters in specific teams whilst always rerunning them very close to eachother or together.

@polymervirus @khiluma They don't give a shit about if units they sell can carry anything to victory and out dps most teams, 3 man Lunar core, especially Bina Ineffa, is already capable of this. Mavuika Citlali Bennett was also capable of this in 5.x. This idea has nothing to do with transformatives.

@khiluma I wonder if the reason they don't actually make true transformative reactions as they did before due to how good hyperbloom was. Hyperbloom made it so that you can use nahida xinqiu kuki shinobu and some random character to out dps most other teams. Maybe they're afraid of this

Okay I love transformative reactions like truly. Nobody loves them more than I do but if we’re in for another year of fake reactions where the only actual damage comes from the characters talent where they can’t be buffed by anything other than the star if scales with it sucksss

@bruhwtfLOl520 I don't bother looking at prydwen because it's a pretty horrible site all said, but I don't really get your point about meta. This game powercreeps fast as hell, something lasting more than even half a year's worth of patches without Euphoria is the exception and not the norm.

Like you can't just say whatever old unit is meta or bitcoin just because they get "buffed" by some new unit just to end up struggling or even straight up failing to clear content catered for their archetype. Or worse, clearing in a way where they didn't even have to exist.

People really need to start separating good synergy/gameplay design from meta because a lot of synergystic teams are dead in a ditch while incomplete teams of new units deal double the damage with half the effort. This especially goes for discussing potential new teams.

People are giving attention to Husk again cause of Linnea, and it does seem to outperform Aubade for her, but interestingly it's probably been one of the most competitive sets there is on Akasha, mostly because the Chiori board was always full of c6 minmaxxers. Crazy.

Ok this is mega stupid but basically I was thinking too much about how the previous pyro Hex for Flins (Fischl Durin) also gave an attack buff and forgot that Durin is also giving shred which the Nicole-Ineffa duo doesn't at c0 which is why I arrived at such a poor conclusion.

A friend brought up the idea of Nicole for Flins (replacing Sucrose), and let's say we discount the pulls needed for it, it's hard to find a refutation for this idea, weirdly? Like yeah only 1 part of her kit is being used effectively but it makes sense doesn't it?
