I’m a very proud Mother, raising Lions not sheep. How fucking sinister is this?? My son claims he didn’t get caught and in the meeting the teacher said someone had handed him a note. Either way…. “You were caught talking at xxx, xxx and xxx about your ideological views - you were midway through a diatribe on why being part of the LGBTQIA+ community should be considered a mental illness/condition. I have since had a meeting with you, making it absolutely clear that making comments like that is deeply offensive and ideologically abhorrent and in no way appropriate to be preaching within the walls of the college. We talked about what effect saying such things may have on your peers, and staff. You were receptive to the feedback and promised that you would not talk this way in college again. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that this written warning will remain active on your student record for the duration of 3 months after which they can become spent but will remain on your student record.”

How alarming, Sarah, I'm sorry. I know far too many women who've been intimidated or threatened like this in the past couple of years. The men doing it exult in creating fear. It's driving some women off the tubes and buses at all.

I took the 94 bus home from dinner with an old school friend tonight. I was harassed by a man, while another sat next to me apparently in hysterics at what was going on. It was fine: I’m far too long in the tooth to care about a couple of dickheads. But had I been younger, I would have been quite scared. It’s not right that women should have to put up with this bullshit. Not right at all. London is not safe. @SadiqKhan

@jfwduffield It's London John, we have events every year for Jewish, Sikh, Hindu and Muslim faith in the Square as well as Christians. People attend other people's events because most people find it enjoyable to share other people's celebrations and happy moments.

I just finished watching Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere. It's a fascinating look at some of the most odious people on the internet. Their medieval attitudes towards women, gay people, and jews. And yet it seemed to sidestep explicitly highlighting a rather significant point regarding their ideology. From Sneako to Andrew Tate, why have so many of these manosphere influencers converted to Islam?
