8 years after Hillary Clinton lost to Trump, Kamala Harris managed to (probably) do it again by recycling Clinton's failed strategy of courting Republicans and out-hawking Trump amidst a Democratic-sponsored genocide she refused to budge on. The stupidity is almost unbelievable until you remember imperialism always comes first, even if it means losing.

Turns out there’s a political cost to aiding the genocide of Palestinians. Giving Israel a blank cheque & ignoring massive protests led to this point. Also not being “the bad guy” isn’t enough to beat the far-right. A radical, positive vision is needed & Labour should take note.

Biden's legacy is not just a genocide, but bringing a far more radical Trump to power. A fitting capstone to the career of a disastrous failure.

I imagine that Sky News will similarly report on the identities of those burned alive last night at Al Aqsa hospital, not to mention the civilians killed by Israeli strikes on Beirut. Because if we don't see photos of those killed by the IDF, or learn their names, what can we infer about the value placed by British media on Arab lives?

Will we ever know the names & stories of 118,000+ people killed by Israel in Gaza? Or the people burned alive after Israeli strikes on Al Aqsa Hospital, where displaced Palestinians sheltered? The UK is complicit in these war crimes. End ALL arms sales & diplomatic support NOW.

Never forget that a Labour government stood by and allowed this to happen.

Private schools — which only 7% of children attend — divert resources from the state school system, entrench inequality from childhood, and create and maintain privilege. Taxpayers should not subsidise a two-tier education system.

Israel has spent the past year desecrating international law on live TV. Now it is waging war on the UN itself, including 10,000 peacekeepers from 50 countries stationed in Lebanon. What will it take for the UK to end its military, economic & diplomatic support for Israel?

For the past year, millions of us around the world have made repeated, desperate calls for a ceasefire. We demanded an end to the genocide. We warned of a disastrous regional conflict. We were ignored. Governments have fuelled the machinery of war. Their indifference to human life has destroyed prospects for peace and endangered us all. All of this violence was entirely avoidable. Without urgent de-escalation, more unimaginable horror is on the horizon. It’s time to listen to the voices of ordinary people across the globe calling for peace. That means ending the root cause of this appalling cycle of violence: the occupation of Palestine.

You cannot be selective about which country’s bombing of children you are outraged by. ALL harm to children of any kind is disgusting. Mass bombing or killing of children is what monsters do. No exceptions.

France’s extraordinary election results provide an urgent, valuable lesson. Don’t concede ground to those who sow division and fear. Build a bold Left movement that offers an alternative of inclusion and hope. That is how you defeat the far right.

Labour getting a lower vote share than 2019 obviously doesn’t make this a worse result, obviously. It does though make it seem particularly unfair that 2019 led to a consensus that the Corbyn movement were all freaks and weirdos with nothing to say to the country.
