@GarryJa63035159 @LeeJarvis10 This is the most successful women’s World Cup in terms of attendance and growth in the game. He’s been in position 5 months, give him a bit more time. He’s already started bedding the u20s girls in, it was never going to be a quick fix. The talent at age grade is there.

Scotland fans, I feel for you. I feel traumatised from the amount of Wales vs Fiji men’s games I’ve sat through that have looked like this. Squeakiest bum time.

@LeeJarvis10 I think he’s playing the long game. He’s bought in multiple girls from the u20s set up and given them experience, he’s building for the future and I personally think that we will see improvements but 5 months isn’t enough. He just needs a bit more time.

This is just my opinion from what I've seen since he's taken over. I might be wrong. His main focus is off-field culture and keeping everyone happy, which creates a soft environment imo. Off-field culture means nothing without on field results.This interview sums that up 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 1 / 9

@GarryJa63035159 @LeeJarvis10 A lot of Canada players play in the PWR as ‘professionals’ so it’s harldy amateurs v pros - they just don’t have centralised contracts like some of ours. 12 of the current Wales women squad also don’t have centralised contracts and play in the semi-pro Celtic challenge.

My reason for not going to the Wales game tomorrow is the best one ever - I left it late to buy my ticket & it sold out. In fact - for Saturday, there's only one general admission seat left across all 4 games. Lovely end to a week of people telling me no one likes women's rugby.

@will_owen9 I think we’ve got to remember SL has only been there since Jan. They had such low confidence after the contract negotiations and had been promised regions for the season which hasn’t materialised. They are being blamed by regions supporters for the funding cuts. Its unfair.

FASCINATING team. Given this is essentially a knockout game, against #2 in the world, I can’t figure out why Lynn would save players back for the Fiji game. Is this him giving a lot of new players an opportunity to prove they’re better than the person who started over them?
