@fionaharvey @horton_official This is a very disingenuous post. Wheat prices are so low and fertilizer costs so high some farmers are considering not planting anything. Whatever you think of Farage and his policies this is really poor reporting.

Woodland trust at Pound Farm in East Suffolk have been busy taking down forest edges.... Why?? 🤔🤔🤔 This is all very precious habitat used by migrant passerines and no doubt much else. Why can't people just - LEAVE ALONE !?

@SamaHoole On that, I've not been in public gyms since culture was very different.. Is it rude to ask to swap in with people who are just using equipment to sit on? 5 mins sitting/10 seconds lifting? Basically the whole gym can be taken up with no movement. Need sofas around the edge really

@CharmoiseLloyd I never scroll when I'm resting 3-5 minutes. I just disassociate from my body and stare into space instead. 10/10, would recommend.

Why long rest periods feel like laziness to most people. You rest 3 minutes between sets. You're just sitting there. You feel recovered. It seems excessive. Someone next to you has done two more sets in that time. Brain says: "You're wasting time. Get back under the bar." You rest 60 seconds instead. You're back in before you're ready. You're breathing hard, the set is compromised, the weight feels heavier, you get 3 reps instead of 5. Brain says: "See? That was hard. That counts." What actually happened: The 3-minute rest produced a set at full capacity, near maximum load, close to failure. The 60-second rest produced a set under a level of fatigue that reduced the stimulus. You optimised for the feeling of working hard instead of the conditions required to actually work hard. Rest is not recovery theatre. It is the mechanism by which the next set becomes productive. The muscle you're trying to build doesn't have a watch.

@Jeffrey62093861 "Who are you/they" I notice for many Plaid is always the first response and pivotal. More important than right and wrong, why, or even truth as who you are entirely instructs the answers, treatment and respect given. A natural weakness in Plaid.

I've lived in Maesteg for most of my 75 years . I've been a councillor for 25 years .I looked at the Reform list for Afan, Ogwr,Rhondda in May and my reaction was 'who are these people ?' Where are they from ? What's their background ? God help Wales and devolution .

@ObserverClimate @Ed_Miliband Are you convinced pouring 1000s of tonnes of concrete into the floor for turbine bases, service roads, etc is the thing that needs done? The creative accounting around carbon costs leaves many deeply suspicious

1/ Reform’s energy surrender plan would sell out our energy security to fossil fuel interests, trash the countryside with fracking, cost hundreds of thousands of clean energy jobs and cause bills to skyrocket.

@AdrianRamsay Honestly, the Gov use animal welfare as a distraction knowing it is emotive. Do a better job. Or a different job. Preferably.

We are a nation of animal lovers. That is why it is long past time for the Govt to take action to help end the cruel dolphin hunts in the Faroe Islands.

@DaleVince Why are you effectively campaigning for artificial fertilizers? Energy hungry, un-natural and the only option when there is not enough natural manure from livestock.

This is a classic right wing, anti green spin. The kind of thing Octopus energy takes part in. Yes it cost £1.5bn last year to switch off windmills when we had more wind than the grid could take, but wind energy made £50bn worth of power that year - so this £1.5bn cost was just 3% of the benefit we gained. Flip it the other way - we gained 97% of what was possible from our windmills last year - we’ll get the other 3% when the grid is upgraded. Lies, damn lies and statistics..:)

@JonnyValleyBoy The Senedd is already destroying its own democracy. It’s doing things against the will of the people. It’s turning itself into a bloated mess and I reckon if a survey was carried out, people would back Lowe.

@mitchellsnik I saw an advert on TV featuring Samuel L Jackson recently claiming that the bases of offshore wind turbines are simply new habitats so dropping 1000s of tons of concrete onto the sea bed is good for nature.. so by that logic this is good too? No?

Not all is as it seems on the seaside... 💩 Because panty liners contain high amounts of non-biodegradable plastics, they don't break down like toilet paper they are known as Bio-fouling Because they "bob" on the surface for years, they often become a substrate for marine life

@ianrich15813274 Well observed. Equally rare to meet people on the far left that are reasonable, not bigoted or riddled with jealousy and general hatred of mankind. Maybe cause and effect of extreme views/happiness are not clear?

This is bullshit. Cost of extra Senedd members and staff is £12m per year. And for that we get far more scrutiny of what is now a law making institution we could be proud of once Labour are out of power.

@NormanBrennan Shifts the bite around a bit which isn't perfect, a lot of dogs do I think? Settles to a solid hold once he is on his knees, gets a little mobile/agitated again towards the end but then there is a lot of stimulation + resistance. Got it done. Armchair expert score: 7/10
